Project: Red Bull House of Art - Apartment renovation
Location: 1551 Winder, Detroit Eastern Market
Description: Interior Design and construction management for Artist in resident living and gallery space that will be the venue for a new national artist in residence focused on bringing new perspectives to the Detroit art/culture scene.
Project: Selden Standard
Location: 3921 2nd Avenue 48201 Detroit
Description: In construction; the owners’ vision is to continue to challenge the everyday food experience in Detroit. The 5,200 space continues the growth of the energy of Midtown south toward the central business district.
Project: Supino's Pizzeria Expansion
Location: Detroit Eastern Market
Description: The expansion of a new staple pizzeria in the Eastern Market food district.
Project: NoName Restaurant
Location: 1301 Broadway Detroit
Description: In Progress; the restaurant will focus on the programming of a new type of social space developing in the city center; the public alley. The kitchen will play two roles: the food program for a small 47 seat restaurant and the programming of temporary and permenat outdoor green alley venues.
Project: St Vincent Office Conversion and Renovation
Location: Detroit Corktown
Description: The renovation of this 1970’s era Catholic school into upstart office space begins to address the lack of affordable space for young professional service providers in the cities core.

Description: Design for a street art gallery and office space for a unique art distribution network. The project was drawn to the Eastern Market from a suburban community by the developing artist network of the Market.

Description: A Collaboration w / three local artists to create a pavilion located in an underdeveloped Detroit park. The focus of the programming was to provide a space for food education and provides the roof surface as garden space for the neighborhood.

Description: City zoning consultation and design for a Mexican/Italian restaurant in and underserved community.

Description: The design for a 14,000 art gallery and artist incubator that houses six rotating local Detroit artists. The program has become a leader in the promotion of the local art scene by keeping vigilant on creating an authentic experience for all of the participants.

Description: The design of a new cultural hub for the up and coming Corktown community inspired by the client’s vision of bringing a humble but quality coffee/food program to Detroit.

Description: Historic Renovation of the facade for meat packing facility Historic documentation and drawings for the restoration for an world-renowned artist inspired by Detroit.

Description: The design of a 1,200 sf addition to a single family home. The project incorporates LEED inspired passive and active energy system upgrades for the home.

Corridors Alliance; Founding member of local Detroit non-profit group focused on developing a Community Benefits Agreement around a new NHL hockey arena development. The resulting efforts lead to the establishment of an advisory board and a series of public input and design charrettes.
Red Bull House or Art Board; Design adviser for an artist residency that focuses on giving support to the local Detroit art scene to give exposure to the artist and the city as a creative place.
Cranbrook Academy of Arts Alumni Circle Member Committee; Acting member of a committee of the Board charged with developing strategies of Alumni engagement into art based communities throughout the world.
Roosevelt Park Conservancy; (2009-2011) Visioning and public input for the sustainable development of a neglected city owned park. While active, participated in funding and outreach efforts that lead to the construction of 3 phases of the park.
